It’s funny how you never know what you have until it’s gone. Well, you’re not gone but, you’re not mine anymore. In this amount of time we’re no longer together I am to a full extent, appreciating every aspect of you. As these thoughts course through my spontaneous mind I can’t help but spark a smile. One of those smiles you can’t help but look foolish if someone were to see. One of those smiles you obtain when remembering a time in your life when you could say you were genuinely happy. A smile brought to my face because I know later today, I will give you the best day of your life. I will show you what there’s still to fight for. Like I said in the past, I can’t imagine myself with anyone else.
I hate feeling like I’m growing up too fast, feeling old. Feeling like there’s so much more I could have done. I’m not saying I never want to grow up, but I’m not taking youth for granted.
